Meet Eric Vo of HelloEricVo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Vo.

Eric, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started photography when I was a Sophomore in high school, but I never really got into it. When I got to college, I started again and never actually took it serious once again. When my summer started after my freshman year; I came across @Marquis.Garden page and immediately admired his work.

I then had the courage to message Garden and asked him to mentor me and learned videography very quickly. I then found my passion for videos and continued to network till this day. NETWORKING IS KEY FOLKS! I have met many people around Atlanta and have found a family that keeps pushing me to my fullest potential.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
After learning videography, it has been very smooth for me. I quit my job after I decided to do videography and photography that summer and have never thought about getting a 9-5 job. Life is great! The only struggles I have come upon is when my equipment that has been stolen, and even then I kept a positive attitude and upgraded my equipment!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with HelloEricVo – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
When I first started getting into the business, my Instagram name was Cirevo which meant Eric Vo. I thought the name was so cool at the time, but I figured out that it was lame. I then got the name HelloEricVo because people would make jokes saying “Hello” in an Asian voice, and I took advantage of the joke and make it the name I have now. I specialize in videography and I am just now getting back into photography. Most people know me for my videos, and I am most proud that I have made an effect on my community and people always ask me for help. Ask me and I will help! I want everyone to WIN! What sets me apart from others is my race. I can connect with a lot of people no matter their economic stance or their background.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Well, I attend Kennesaw State University and major in Information Security. When I graduate, I hope to have a job in the technology industry because I love computers. Videography wise, I am hoping that I am able to work for multiple corporate companies and provide content for them! I also started to work on other ways to make money and started selling merchandise for my brand by myself.
