Today we’d like to introduce you to Missy Fletcher.

Missy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I always knew deep down that I was meant to be my own boss. I woke up one day and decided to turn my passion into a business. I saw a post that stated, “In six months time, you can either be in the same place or a better place.” So, I decided to be in a better place. I decided to take the risk; I took my next check and decided to invest in Missy’s Euphoria. I had no idea that I would be where I am today if I would have never taken a chance and started my business. I have dreams and goals for my business, and I plan on achieving them one way or another!

My business is not a job for me. It is not a side hustle, it is a passion. It brings me so much joy to see my products work miracles on all skin types. It excites me, even more, to see my customers return to me. The name “Euphoria” came to me on a whim. Euphoria means “a feeling or state of intense excitement or happiness,” this is the feeling I want all my customers to feel when using my products because this is the joy my skincare products bring me.

Missy’s Euphoria specializes in natural skin care such as whipped body butter, body scrubs, and soaps! I started this because I felt it was different and I knew I wasn’t the only person who struggled to find skincare products that kept my skin moisturized. I believe in treating your body like your face, and your skin needs just the same amount of attention as your face receives. So, I use my platform to educate and provide quality skincare at an affordable price for all ages and genders out there.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting your own business is not a smooth road. You have to want it. You have to be able to put in the work, time, and effort. There have been times when I sit and think to myself that I should have never started this and that this was a mistake. It has been long nights and early mornings but in the end, it’s all worth it. When I first started Missy’s Euphoria, I had to become my own graphic designer, my own financial advisor, my own employee, and most importantly I had to believe within myself that I could achieve great heights. You have to keep a positive mindset when starting and maintaining your own business. There will be times when you feel as if everything is against you and times when you’re on top of the world. I learned to roll with the punches and deal with the highs the same as the lows. Just remember that growth takes time.

Missy’s Euphoria specializes in natural skin care such as shea butter, sugar scrubs, and African black soap. My products are all made from natural ingredients, and the finest USDA approved oils. I hand make every order by myself. My shea butter is my best seller because it’s whipped and it has so many benefits such as a great daily skin moisturizer, replenishes skin elasticity, anti-inflammatory agents, reduces razor irritation, reduces stretch marks, great for dermatitis, psoriasis, & eczema and a natural UV protectant. Shea butter is safe for all skin types also! What sets me apart from the others is that I do this because I love it! Missy’s Euphoria is growing so fast over time that I can do nothing but be thankful for the opportunities it has brought me. I put my all into my business because I love being able to help others. I strive to offer quality and affordable skin care because I know somebody out there will see what I’m doing, and all my hard work will pay off very soon.

I am always looking for new ways to grow and improve my business to cater to everyone! I want to have a product that suits what every person is looking for right at Missy’s Euphoria! I trust and know that I am exactly where I am supposed to be in life, even when there are times when it doesn’t feel like it.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I am West Indian from the beautiful island of Jamaica. My favorite childhood memory has to be growing up in this culture. My West Indian family has set and molded a sturdy foundation for me to be the best I can be. From discipline to tough love to moral support, my culture and my family has to be the number one aspect that has helped me to become a great woman of my time. In Jamaica, we believe in natural herbs and oils to solve many problems, and I have taken that part of me, turned it into a passion, and started my own business.
