Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasia Peck.

Anastasia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I moved to America from Russia 11 years ago. Where I come from lash extensions been on a market for over 10 years and everyone wears or does them. When I came to Atlanta 6 years ago, I’ve already been wearing my extensions for a few years and tried to find someone here to do my refills. Seemed like no one knew what I’m talking about and a very few places I could find didn’t do a proper or a good job. I’ve been personally obsessed with lashes and soon wanted ladies here to experience the same. The way they make you feel, how you wake up in the morning looking like you’ve already done your whole make up routine is simply amazing, you feel like a brand new person. So my relentless desire to encourage woman to feel beautiful that gave me the inspiration to open my Lash Studio, Blink & Wink.

Blink & Wink has quickly become one of the top lash studios in Atlanta, providing amazing lashes for well-known celebrities like Dania Ramirez, Zoe Kravitz, Olivia Munn, Laura Linney, Jessica Burciaga, etc.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I’ve been very blessed with my clientele, word of mouth been my best advertisement that helped me to grow my business. I personally train all of my girls to make sure the quality of our work is consistent and is up to my demanding standards.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Running any successful business takes a lot of hard work, discipline, and definitely a little bit of luck. I attribute my luck to having an extremely strong and supportive group of family, friends, and mentors that not only believed in me, but also believed in my business. Any time I’ve faced challenges in my personal or business life, I’ve always been able to overcome them by surrounding myself with the right people.
