Meet Sean Bartley of Sean B, LLC. in Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sean Bartley.

Sean Bartley is an Atlanta based video producer and up-and-coming director. He first picked up a camera in 2010 and immediately fell in love with shot composition and storytelling. Throughout his college career, he practiced his craft by producing videos for organizations and booking graduation photoshoots. At the beginning of 2016, he got the opportunity to work with actress and mogul, Angela Simmons on a video project that he was quite nervous to do. But because of God’s grace, he was able to create a successful video with her which ultimately led to him working on other video projects and photo shoots with the notable celebrities.

He is now transitioning into scripted content with his first web series “Connect-the Series,” a breakthrough YouTube series. “Connect” chronicles the journey of Sean (Jared Howard), Jasmine (Kayla Higgenbottom), Tiffany (Nijah Brenae) and Jacques (Najee Harrington) as they explore life after college, navigating through entrepreneurship, work politics, relationships, and adulting while living in Atlanta. The popular series returned on Monday, June 17 for the final five episodes of Season One. Sean hopes to produce and direct movies/television shows for studios and networks.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road has not been smooth at all, especially now that he’s focusing on scripted content. Every day he’s learning something new about storytelling, directing, producing, set design, marketing, etc. He just tries to remain a student of the game at all times.

He is known for his work behind the camera for celebrities, events and more. He believes that not only can you tell a story with a script but you can also tell a story through camera movements. When he approaches a project, it’s all about the subtle details and that’s what sets him apart.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
What he likes the most about Atlanta is how culturally rich it is. There’s so much beauty in the art and people of Atlanta. There’s no other place like it. The thing he likes least about the city is that he wishes there was a beach.
