Meet Abbey Bruggeworth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abbey Bruggeworth.

Abbey, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I began my blog a little over a year ago after having the desire to for years. I planned and organized everything in the six months prior to my launching my blog in June of 2018. I produce weekly blog posts covering topics from fitness, to home decor, to fashion and everything in between. I’m regularly on my Instagram account (@abbeybruggs) to promote my blog posts and give my audience a daily look into my life. A year in and I feel like I’m really getting the swing of things and loving the content creation world.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There was definitely a trial and error period in the beginning where I learned what worked for me. Scheduling time to focus on my website and creating content while working a job was difficult at first, but it is all about balance. Being passionate about something makes you work that much harder to achieve it. At the start of this journey, I had a hard time finding my niche, but overtime it was easy to see what came the most natural to me and what content my audience enjoyed seeing. I’m sure I will to continue to face obstacles and grow from those in order to formulate abbeybruggeworth.com into exactly what I want it to be.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
My platforms are:
Website – abbeybruggeworth.com
Weekly blog posts focusing on style, beauty, fitness, lifestyle, etc., ability to shop my style updated in real-time, and a forum to communicate with me about anything and everything.
Instagram – @abbeybruggs – 3-4 posts a week, “daily life” stories, highlights, open communication.

I’m proud of the continual growth that I have experienced over the past year! I love speaking with people from all over about the content I produce. I respond to every single message that I receive and love forming relationships through my platforms. I set myself apart from many others because I have a more broad approach to blogging. I don’t have one particular topic or category, rather an umbrella of topics that appeal to all.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I definitely believe in luck, but I think that in this business, it has been more so about the effort and motivation that has been put into it rather than luck. Luck came into play a year before the start of my blog when I moved to Atlanta. My husband brought us down here for his job and I don’t think that I would have started my blog if it weren’t for moving to a large city like Atlanta.
