Meet Alex Levy of Alex Levy in Buckhead

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Levy.

Alex, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born and raised in Sarasota, FL but moved to Atlanta five years ago from Tampa to pursue my dream of living in a vibrant metropolitan city. The dream was always The Big Apple, but being a Floridian who doesn’t do well in cold weather, I decided to stay in the southeast and Atlanta was a perfect fit.

I was an imaginative kid growing up in an even more imaginative world. As a sensitive and shy kid, I was interested in all things “Wo Wo,” and was curious about crystals, angels, ghosts and knew that I had some intuitive gifts. By the age of 13, I was teaching myself how to read Tarot cards and was doing readings for myself and friends.

I studied musical theatre in college and then transitioned into a career as a successful Hair Colorist at a top salon, but all while feeling I had turned my back on my true intuitive self. After a turbulent 2016, I decided that It was time to pursue my true passion and step into my path as an Intuitive Life Coach. I trained at the Lisa Williams International School of Spiritual Development (LWISSD) and Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. In the spring of 2019, I published my first card deck, The Spirit Guided Oracle, and I’m currently working towards becoming an ICF Certified Coach.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The biggest challenge for me was learning to be a public speaker, and becoming more visible in the social media and radio landscape. I’m a classic introvert, and even though I have a background in acting and theatre the challenge is there is no script anymore or character, it’s just me. I think Brene Brown said it best, “Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” Letting go of that structure has been incredibly freeing and I find it to be a more creative and inspiring process.

What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
Through my practice, I work one on one, and in groups through the process of intuitive readings and spiritual life coaching to inspire people to step into their power of ultimate potential while feeling supported with deeper soul clarity. The real reason I do what I do is I love INTUITION. I get fired up thinking about the superpower that is intuition. In 2017, I developed my signature program called Intuition Camp ® which is a 6 week intensive to help people connect back and ignite their intuition in a safe and practical sequence.

I am perhaps most known for my presence on social media and my oracle deck, The Spirit Guided Oracle. I especially love working and teaching people how to use oracle cards as they are one of the easiest ways to connect to your higher self, your inner GPS, and begin to trust the invisible.

Something incredibly important to me in giving back and that is why I have become a Reforestation Partner with One Tree Planted and will make a donation to plant one tree for each and every purchase, course, and served purchased through my business

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
To me, success means being purpose-driven, leading with intention, and doing my work from a genuine place of service. I believe that failure isn’t the opposite of success, but part of success. My goal is excellence, not perfection.
