Meet Krystle Griggie of Got Carpets in East Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystle Griggie.

Krystle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I moved to Atlanta from Texas in 1999. I was hired on at one of Atlanta’s biggest carpet cleaning companies where I was trained and promoted rather quickly however I was not comfortable with the integrity of the company. I left after a little over a year and was hired on at the competitions place of employment. I loved this place but I was at a dead end after 7 years of employment. My employer seemed to struggle year to year so I parted ways and started Got Carpets!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road is definitely rough, lol! I would have to say that the struggles are unlimited. There’s just not enough hours in the day. My struggles would be completing things in a timely fashion as I am in the field doing that work as well as office details.

So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Got Carpets story. Tell us more about the business.
We are an Eco-Friendly Carpet Cleaning Company. We provide a safe method of cleaning your fabrics in your home such as carpets, Orientals, drapery and upholstery. I would have to say we are known for our great work at affordable prices. I take pride in a lot of things about my company, for example my extensive knowledge on how to treat spots/stains and my years of experience. Last but not least my 800 + positive reviews on Angies List and the 400 + on Kudzu. I would have to say that my honesty and strong work ethic sets me apart from others.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t feel as if luck has played a role one way or another in my situation. I have worked very hard and by the grace of God it pays off.
