Meet Makeea Arnold of Makeup Craze Beauty in Jacksonville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Makeea Arnold.

Makeea, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am Makeea Arnold, Pro Skin Therapist and Makeup Artist at Makeup Craze Beauty. I have always had a love for beauty for as long as I can remember but, my journey in the beauty industry began officially when I moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2015. I became an Esthetician in 2016, a Cosmetologist in 2017 and the rest has been amazing. I joined Makeup Craze Beauty in 2017, where I offer luxury skincare services, makeovers, eyelash extensions and facial waxing. I love what I do and I am so thankful for the ability to serve my clients!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I am blessed to say that many of my struggles came before my journey in the beauty industry. I have had my share of struggles. I was unclear about what I wanted my path in life to look like. Relocating provided me with fresh eyes when I needed a change. Being in the beauty industry has been very rewarding and I have established many meaningful connections. The road is not easy, as much work has to be put in to become successful. I am excited to see what the future has in store for me!

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Makeup Craze Beauty story. Tell us more about your work.
I am a Pro Skin Therapist and I am known for skin! Simply put! I specialize in luxury skincare and spa services, offering my clients a personalized and relaxing experience every time they come to see me! I am attentive, knowledgeable, personable, and open with my clients. I provide a serene experience and surround my clients with positivity. My clients never leave me without knowing exactly how their skin should be maintained. I only plan to keep expanding on my knowledge and investing in my business.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I like to refer to my “luck” as blessings and many of mine have come in disguise. I would have never thought that having a love for makeup and beauty would bring me to this point in my career. I have been able to make the right connections and gain the knowledge needed to maintain a successful business and I am forever thankful. I give thanks to God daily for the opportunity to be a blessing to others.
