Daisa, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
One morning, I woke up with the urge to invest my money into something but a lot was on my mind about what I should do. I was talking to my mom about ideas, the one that I was most interested in was hair and lashes. I began to buy vendors and test them out. I went through 4-5 hair vendors before I found the perfect vendor, the perfect vendor meaning great quality hair. I started with little to no money at all and also went through a lot of trials and errors. A year later, I see my business is now starting to get noticed more and is doing better than four months ago.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has been a smooth road. I feel that a lot of business it does not matter what industry you decide to enter, you will meet a lot of hard patches. A struggle that I had along the way was attracting customers, my Instagram page was very interesting but I was a shy person starting a business and my business broke me out of my comfort zone. I will advise anyone who will like to become an entrepreneur to always promote your business no matter what!
what should we know about GlamorousBundleBar? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I sell hair, lashes, flat irons, bonnets/edge scarfs. I am known mostly for my 25mm mink lashes that I sell. I am proud that when my customers do my bundles, I know they will come back because I great quality bundles at affordable prices. I will say my honestness towards my customers set me apart from others. I do not lie to my customers. I tell them everything they need to know and when they receive their products they will see.
What do you feel are the biggest barriers today to female leadership in your industry or generally?
I feel the biggest barries to females are that women do not receive the correct recognization in the work they do.
