Muriam, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
The True Self Magazine journey started in 2018. The vision came to me while I was meditating to start a magazine for the curvy woman to accept themselves and not allowing size to define them.
Muriam Cinevert is a mother of one and Regional Vice President of Fiducia Financial Group; serving predominately the immigrant community with guidance on immigration, Insurance Planning, Retirement Planning and Credit Counseling. This award nominated entrepreneur is an Amazon Best Seller Author, Confidence & Success Coach, Motivational Speaker, and the founder of True Self Magazine for the voluptuous woman.
She is a native of Haiti, her heritage and desire to assist individuals transform their lives, sparked her popular platform, #HaitianInspiration.
Muriam’s passions is to help single mothers, thus birthing the show idea of Single Mompreneurs of Atlanta. Her vision for this show was to hand pick a cast of single moms with a story, a vision, a purpose and the determination to do whatever it takes to be successful as an entrepreneur while fulfilling their family duties at the same time. Never in a million years did she imagine the “idea” of Single MomPreneurs Of Atlanta would have her in the position she’s in right now as show creator, executive producer and a cast member to show the intimate details of her life and the lives of other women just like her.
And most recently she was featured as one of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce women Entrepreneurs and has earn the roll Femcity Collective Leader. Femcity is a powerhouse of female entrepreneur that empowers and support women leaders in the quest of reaching the next level in their business.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The ride has been smooth. True Self Mag has been the magazine that many plus size women can relate to and be able to be a feature as their true self in the magazine.
My advice to women who want to start on any path journey to follow your passion and do what you are specialize in. Don’t be scared by anybody or anything. When you decide to follow your energy path be sure to go with full force and learn as much as you can about your passion so that you over-delivered. Individuals will have no other option but to want to pay for your value. Another key point is to realize that when you walk into a room where you appear to be unique from everybody, it certainly stands out enough to be noticed. It will also give you a chance to create new opportunities. Most importantly follow the following steps below and you will be just fine.

I am an entrepreneur, author, motivational speaker, and the founder of True Self Magazine for the voluptuous woman.
I am specialize in assist individuals to transform their lives for the better. I’m proud most of all, to be a resource for my community to know that they are not alone. They can count on me as their voice to guide them on the right path. What sets me apart is being Haitian. Overthought I came to the United States at the age of eight and grew up in East Orange, NJ I am so proud of where I came from and for creating that uniqueness in me.
Who have you been inspired by?
My mother Marie Freda Sidney. She passed away in 1996, but I remembered her being a single mom raising seven children all on her own while working as a nursing aide making minimum wages. Her strength I will never forget, her caring heart for always finding extra to share with others, her love that always makes the day better. She who inspires me to love, to give and to keep pushing for the stars. Her soul was called before she could reach her star and my journey is to reach it for her.
