Meet ShaDella Reese of CashOnly and TrenchPlay

Today we’d like to introduce you to ShaDella Reese.

ShaDella, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
To me, my journey has always started with me being a creative in heart and adventurous in mind and never allow anything to stop me. I learned that one should always have multiple plans in life and multiple ways to make things happen. Bringing things to life has always been my passion and being able to connected with people in various ways to improve life through mentoring, coaching while still being a student and soaking up knowledge to grow.

Has it been a smooth road?
I mean, I can’t say that any road I been on has just been smooth but I’m blessed and I know that I’m a walking testimony. Most times I think my biggest struggle is the number one reason why I go the hardest because losing a parent is never easy but imaging turning to sports something you thought you was prepared to do your entire life and junior year of high school going into the senior year you tear you ACL and meniscus and not being able to play for any scouts and college coaches. From that point forward, I knew that basketball wasn’t a forever thing for me even though I knew I could bounce back the dream to play overseas or in WNBA didn’t have the same feeling. I knew it was more for me and I was going to find out what it was and I’ve been doing just that everyday.

Cash only is a family brand the specializes in music, clothing and the community. TrenchPlay is my individual brand, which stands for the progression of work from ideas from the mud into action. TrenchPlay specializes in consulting, clothing/custom designs, management, music and more. Me personally, I’m known for the customized CashOnly & TrenchPlayMf merch. Being hands-on with the ability provide draw, designs, pick a color schemes is fun I’ll even go the extra mile in most case to create something new for our customers. I’m proud that were just hit our one year anniversary for our storefront and I’m thankful for all the support.

I believe what sets me apart the vibe and creativity while working with me. After one time, generally, I get full range to create a customer will just send their shoes, so I know the trust the process.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Not sure where I see the industry but I definitely see growth in my future in this industry incorporating more on the designing as far the sewing side.
