Today we’d like to introduce you to Tremesha Willis-Burns.

Tremesha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Our business developed from utilizing a recycled 20-foot shipping container. Our business was started to be different and a cut above the rest. We purchased this used shipping container and systematically converted it into a functional event pod. This custom event pod is great for marketing, pop-up shops, tailgating, birthday parties, launch parties and more. On this one, we really did “think outside the box.”

Has it been a smooth road?
The road has not been as smooth as expected. Our development and marketing, this year, has been suppressed by the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 and social distancing. Listen, we are in the event business and masses of people is our business. We do expect to slowly transition back to our norm. Until then, we will use this downtime to perfect and tweak our business model even more.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with EventBox – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We create a unique and quaint mobile event space. Whether you are tailgating with friends or using the EventBox for marketing purposes, we have you covered. We are proud that we took part in saving the earth by recycling this retired shipping container. We have set a new standard in the Atlanta Metro area. We are one of a kind set-up.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love Atlanta as both my husband and I were born here. We both attended and are products of Atlanta Public Schools (North Atlanta High and Frederick Douglass High). Our city is filled with so much diversity and business opportunities. We are proud of the economic growth that this city has to offer. Currently, what we like least about this city is the day to day traffic that we always face. However, this is something that we can look past and see the bigger picture of Atlanta.
