Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Christine.
Tina, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I guess you can say it all happened back in the living room of my child hood home’s. No matter what was going on or what family was over, there was always a show. A choreographed dance, an out of the blue skit or simply what I know now as “Improv”. It would mostly be me, my sisters and cousins then we found some close friends that liked our crazy entertainment and they’d join. It was always high energy creative fun. That’s where it all started. Now to give details of bridging it to now, this article wouldn’t be long enough hehe. But to fast forward to about three years ago. I did a what if moment and googled acting class near me signed up for an interview and the rest is her story.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I honestly don’t think any road, route, lane, street, walk way is ever smooth, you just find your groove or speed I guess lol. At first it was all excitement and disbelief. Everything took off so fast. I get the interview then start the class then do a background gig, asked to do a web series. Went to another acting school was in a music video and then signed to my agent all within the first year. Not to mention auditioned for my first lead role and booked. I had the lead role in my very first Independent film! So, all that in less than a year. Was it easy? Not one part. I’m thankful for my talent but the lack of knowledge and being so new to the industry puts you at a deficit in my opinion. Advice: educate and research everything! and don’t be desperate. What’s meant for you is already yours.
TinaChristine – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m in the business of Health. I haven’t built my company just yet but see its birth in the near future. I like to call and see myself as an innovator. I like to stand out. Not just because but to push the norm, think outside the box. I create everything so to narrow it down to A Business has been a challenge, but between myself and loving friends and family around me I have all the support I need. Love is broad so to be somewhat more specific I want to Advocate Motivate Inspire with Love for Love about Love. It’s the one thing we all can agree on and can fix anything. The way I’ll incorporate it into a business you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck! It’s right next to my name. You ask me if I made half my life of what it is, of course I want to say I did it all but to be honest there were times I didn’t know what to do where to go or how I was going to get out of a circumstance. Then out of nowhere here’s my Luck! Right time Right place. Not when I really wanted it like the billion-dollar lottery, lol but when I most need it. It’s the one thing I don’t take advantage of but am grateful for. We all have a purpose in life and my purpose came with an exponent called Luck.
