Thanks for sharing your story with us DJ New Era. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my path as a Dj in Huntsville, AL, while attending Uni Alabama Huntsville. My first party ever was a college party. I started Djing on the campus of Alabama A&M with Greeks such as Phi Beta Sigma, Delta Sigma Theta, and Sigma Gamma Rho. When I finished college, I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life. My parents gave me the option either work a job, military, or step out on faith and push forward with my dreams of being in the entertainment industry. I knew my passion was in the music, so I would travel to Atlanta and network my company @ PBrowns record pool for artist & Djs. While traveling back in forth from Alabama to Atlanta, I managed to build relations with a lot of people in my field. I built a good relationship with Djs such as Dj Sense, Dj Holiday, Dj Greg Street, Dj Scream, Dj Swamp Izzo, Dj Princess Cuts, Dj Montay and so many more to name.
My first Atlanta booking came from my good friend Diana Schweinbeck. I would Dj a lot of her showcases, which in return helped spread my mixtape brand amongst the Atlanta music scene. I remember taking gigs for just 100$ and sometimes doing them for free just have a presence in the Atlanta market. God is the reason for everything I have today. I never like to use the work luck. My parents always taught me to speak with your heart and claim it with your mouth. Tell God what it is your heart desires and he will never let you go without.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I remember driving to a showcase in Atlanta and right when I got into Douglasville my car broke down. While driving back from shows in Atlanta to Alabama at 3 in the morning, I would have to pull over and sleep at a gas station just to stay awake at times. The hardest thing about being a businessman in this field is knowing your not promised a booking the next day. You have to take so many risk! I always tell myself there is no such thing as playing it safe.

I am known for my successful mixtapes which can be found on all major platforms, such as Livemixtapes, MyMixtapes and Spinrilla.
My company is well known throughout Atlanta, Alabama, New York and FL. My company caught the attention of Sway In The Morning, ThisIs50.Com and The HeavyHitter Djs.
What sets my company apart from others is that we take risks!
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, I do feel like Atlanta is a good place for any business. Atlanta is a music-driven city. There is always something going on in Atlanta.
