Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Vinson.
Tiffany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always had a love for travel… my mommy would always take us to beautiful places and the locations all brought on their own special touches…that would intrigue me.
I wanted to become a flight attendant and pursued it …(having never been on a plane!!) Crazy, I know… but the idea and vision of me wearing the cute outfit, traveling outweighed my fear!!
There were several interviews and challenges that I faced… I’ll share in more detail… but I made it!! I was a Delta Flight Attendant!! 🙂
After a few years, I was experiencing severe fatigue and balance issues (those issues were later discovered) had to let go my wings…
I then began working in banking and finance… I liked banking but loved the finance side. While working for a finance company… I started noticing a decline in my walking… I was advised by a “mature” client that I needed to go see a neuraga… (meaning a neurologist) because I was raised to respect my elders… I said yes mam… she told me to get my head checked. No offense was taken… lol.
The short of the long story is that I later diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis… six years after the diagnosis, I went on disability.
Being home, gave more time to spend with my young men.. and husband. But after two years, I began to want more…
Something was missing… what I just didn’t know what…
I was on Facebook scrolling when I saw that my friend, ex-banking coworker was posting about being a travel agent.
It hit me!!!! My way back to travel!! Two years in, Trip With Tiff became… the name came to be… after a round table of family… coming up with several names… Vacations by Tiffany… Tiffany Vacations… then walks in my oldest. Trenton (Trent) with a quick saying… Trip With Tiff…. it was at that moment the brand was a fit!!
I am able to plan amazing getaways for my clients… that in itself gives me to regain my wings.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Owning a business is an exciting experience… there are highs and lows… I have had my share…
The challenges were realizing that everyone isn’t going to support your brand. Finding dependable people to work with, who see and understand your vision.. that I am proud to say that I’m over that hurdle.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is measured by money. I’ve found to appreciate the relationships and partnerships that I’ve developed as such.
I truly believe in order to be successful, it takes a number of those who work together to support and uplift one another.
