I started making music because of my love for it. Music is something out of this world, it’s that feeling that I’ve been searching for a long time. It’s a feeling of freedom, I know we all can relate to that. That‘s one of the reasons why I wanted to make music. The other reason is my family. Whether it was singing in the church or rapping on the mic they did it. So I just sunked those moments in and just got inspired by them. But the only problem was, my hometown didn’t have that much opportunity so I couldn’t see my gifts going farther than a local baptist church. But since we moved to Birmingham, it has plenty of opportunity so I learn and take advantage of what I can do and be successful with the gifts I have.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it has not been a smooth road at all. I had people telling me that I wasn’t gonna get as far as I am. It even got to the point I would believe them and doubt myself. But the more I kept pushing the more it made sense to me.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I am a Music Producer. I create a variety of music for rappers, singers, ads, films, soundtracks, etc. I’m known for the music I make for artists because my style brings old school vibes with a new school sound. I’m proud of always wanting to create something that’s gonna impact the culture in the music scene. That’s what sets me apart from others it’s not always about a dollar when it comes to music I care about, sometimes it’s about making history in your own time period.
What were you like growing up?
I was energetic, Creative, Passionate, Goofy always wanted to make people laugh, Imaginative, Chill and laid back.
