Meet Jerrold Amihere

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jerrold Amihere.

Jerrold, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My name is Jerrold but people call me Hova. I am 18 years old and I’m actually a freelance model I represent a lot of brands in Atlanta such as Cease & Desist, Deadly Luv, Nan Couture, Blokes, etc, I’m really an entrepreneur I make clothes, sell clothes, throw parties, and model but my main focus is modeling. I started modeling December of 2019 when a photographer by the name of Braylen Dion discovered me and said he wanted to take pictures of me but prior to that I was already told that I should model but I never took it seriously but after my first photo shoot with him, all the opportunities started rolling in fast I gained over 1000 followers so I can really thank him for most of my success. Also thank my personal Photographer @d.creammvisuals So far I’ve had plenty of photoshoots and I even got to walk in fashion week fashion show in Los Angeles California I’ve had a lot of success in modeling. I also used to do YouTube with a group of my friends named WTG. We reached 24 thousand subscribers in less than a year. But I can really say I got to where I am now with the help of my friends and family. They really push me to never give up. 

Has it been a smooth road?
No, it was actually pretty difficult to get into the industry nobody really wanted me to Model for them and I didn’t have too much support.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I model and I specialize in fashion/clothing. I am most proud of all the success this has brought me at only 18. I’m different from everyone because if you look at my Instagram and picture you can tell I don’t try to be like others and I don’t dress the same as a lot of people.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Atlanta comes with a lot of support and a lot of hate but mostly support and it’s a big city compared to other places so that’s good what I hate the most is that a lot of people like to copy others and things get played out fast because everyone’s trying to do the same thing.
