Meet Jason Little of Lucky Man Fresh in Southwest region

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Little.

Jason, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My professional music career started with the group Ol’ Skool. Ol’ Skool was discovered by Keith Sweat. He signed us to Keia/Universal Records. Ol’ Skool recorded two albums and our notable song was, “Am I Dreaming”, featuring Keith Sweat and Xscape. Shortly after the second album the group broke up so I began a solo career. In 2004 I moved to New York and ended up being a background singer for Trey Songz. I traveled with Trey Songz for about 2 years and fast forward to now, I’m living in Atlanta, GA. and I just released a new single, entitled “Salvation”, and I’ve just launched a new fragrance for men called, “Lucky Man Fresh”.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
When I was living in New York I experienced homelessness. At times, I did not know where my next meal would come from. Things changed a little when I was asked to go on tour with Trey Songz; as his background singer. I finally found a job! Even during the times while working with Trey there were still struggles. I remember one promo show we had done, this particular one was a free show. It was a Vibe Magazine showcase with Trey Songz Ne-Yo and other artists. The night before the show I was in a hotel that I had to be out of by noon. I had nowhere to go, was flat broke. So, all day I just walked and sat around until the showcase. Once I got to the showcase with all of my belongings, I did the showcase with Trey on an empty stomach because I still hadn’t eaten since the night before. Once the showcase was over, I spent the night outside and the next morning I met up with Trey and his manager and road manager to begin his promo tour. When we arrived to our destination, I received my per-diem and was finally able to eat. Trey Songz and his team never knew of my situation because I did not tell anyone.

Please tell us about Lucky Man Fresh.
My fragrance Lucky Man Fresh, is a classy, elegant, timeless, clean, romantic, and fresh scent. It is great for all occasions; day or night. It’s very unique and different from many other fragrances on the market. I am the founder and owner of Lucky Man Fresh.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
As far as my music career, if I had to start over, I would not be in a singing group I would be a solo artist.
