Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassie Pippen.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Cassie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I graduated high school in May 2019 and started college the following month, June 2019. Currently, I am a sophomore at Paul Quinn College, double majoring in business entrepreneurship & legal studies. I started my business in January of 2020. I am 19 years old from Detroit, Michigan. I moved to Dallas, Texas August 2016. Leading up to my college career i have acquired the skill(s) of playing the violin from the age of 7yrs. Old with the Detroit Youth Symphony Orchestra up until the age of 16; Cheerleading for North Crowley High school, student council, Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps; I played Field Hockey on the Varsity level; I also had the opportunity to be apart of the police explorer program in Fort Worth, Tx. Now I am a full-time student ambassador, Paul Quinn cheerleader & prior to me working under a social worker for PQC, I was a student recruiter for my college.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There has been several challenges with starting a new business at my age; but I know God puts me in these positions so i can grow as a entrepreneur & a business woman. For example, i run my own business; meaning i search for the most high quality vendors, i am the first, middle & last man when it comes to communication; sending out emails; texts; phone calls, etc. I, with the help of friends and family, promote my business on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Snapchat. I package/send all of my orders. I even created/maintain my own website for my business; In doing this i am also a full time college student. All in all i put the upmost effort so the quality of my business is comparable, and even better. I take pride in how much success this business has bought for me and I can’t wait for people to see what else I have in store for my company.
Please tell us about Cassiedemarie Collection.
Cassiedemarie collection originates from my first name: Cassie and Demarie, being my middle name. Cassiedemarie collection was founded here in Dallas , Texas; Specializing in numerous things from graphic designing to cosmetics and numerous of other things. I started my company in August of 2019 and rebranded my company in January of 2020. I am back-and-forth right now from Atlanta, GA to Dallas, TX until I have graduated from college. Thus being because i see imminent potential & growth opportunities for my business in both Texas and Atlanta, GA.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
No, I am in the position i am in because of the things I’ve overcame with the past two years. Wether it be good or bad, i strongly believe that you cannot grow in the same position you started off in.
