Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonio Moorman.
Antonio Moorman is the manager and owner of an entertainment Company by the name of TCA Entertainment. When he arrived in Atlanta, he took a job in the public school system, where he mentored high school students through the bridge of music. With a desire to see his students succeed, he began to use his own money to get students studio time in order to keep them creative and off the streets. During that time spent in the studio, TCA Entertainment was born.
Antonio Moorman began to manage students who showed a real interest in pursuing a career in the entertainment arts. With the help of contacts made in the music industry, TCA Entertainment started showcasing talent and by utilizing those same contacts Antonio and TCA Entertainment were able to garner themselves a distribution deal through Roc Nation’s Equity distribution company. Antonio Moorman and TCA Entertainment believe wholeheartedly in the banner they fly with TCA Entertainment, which stands for taking CHARGE ALWAYS!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Some of the struggles that I had to go through was not having enough funds to keep the artist that was signed to me going and they ended up leaving TCA. But I was able to work with a few major labels such as Roc Nation and Universal Music Group and the money started to roll in.
TCA Entertainment – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My company is most known for building a solid foundation for an independent artist and taking them to the major label. We specialize in artist management and marketing. We are most known for our deal with Roc Nation/Equity distribution. I am most proud that my company has come so far in the past few years, to the point that we are able to deal with major artists and major labels.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define being successful by being able to get an artist to their major goals and also being able to help the people on my team to become successful and being able to feed their family.
