Today we’d like to introduce you to Shantel Robinson.

Shantel, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
The concept of Sensational Her came to me a couple of years ago. Around the time, I really started to take ”self” care seriously. I had just had my son and when I had free time, I wanted to pamper myself. Going to the so wasn’t too always in the books for me, so I started to do my research on at-home self-care routines.

I found that with simple ingredients, I could make natural, homemade, spa-quality products. That’s when the idea sort of just came to me. I knew that I wasn’t the only woman or mother experiencing a lack of self-care. So, I started making my products for family and friends. And From there, it just grew. Now, I have a simple body scrubs, body butter and other products that I offer. I have also recently done a relaunch of my website.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This process hasn’t been a smooth one by far. I decided to launch this year, and I wasn’t totally prepared for what 2020 was going to offer us. I’ve had to reevaluate shipping methods and sanitation methods, among other things.

Sensational Her lets you bring the spa to you. We offer natural, homemade products for the mind, body, and soul. Our self pamper products will allow you to forget about the stress and worries that being a woman, or man, comes with. They give you confidence and power to unleash your inner Goddess! We will also be adding the ”Her Man” collection very soon!

Sensational Her prides itself on providing nothing but the best for our customers. I try to make the entire experience unforgettable. From the first logging onto my website to purchasing, and then the actual products, the customer is treated like royalty. Therefor customer service, and providing a great product at an affordable price is a big must.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Communication is the most important to me. I have learned that as long as you communicate with your customer, the process will run smoothly. Even if you have someone that is hard to please, just have effective communication with them.
