Meet Ace B King

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ace B King.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Ace B. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My story begins with the love of the entertainment world. I began doing musicals when I was in middle school all the way up to sophomore year and it was everything to me. Being casted as comedic characters and making the audience laugh really brought joy to my heart and in a way, I wanted to take it a step further.

I then began working on my own comedic videos and people fell in love with them. Now having over 2 million followers on my platforms, I realized that I was relatable and people liked every aspect of what I was bringing to the table. Therefore, I wanted to begin my journey as an influencer to just make people smile because everyone deserves to smile.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth ride. I’ve been working on my portfolio for 4+ years now and it was challenging. Everyday was a constant struggle of me thinking is the internet going to like me enough for me to pursue this career. In the end, it all worked out but I had to remember to stay consistent and to not lose myself in the process.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
My influencer brand is all about being yourself. Whether you like makeup, singing, dancing, or etc. Just do what you do best at your full potential. I want people to understand that taking “no” as an answer isn’t acceptable anymore. We should be able to do what we want and feel proud about the pieces we’ve put together.

I’m most proud of growing my brand and being the light to people’s darkness. Getting constant messages about how I made someone happy or smile just makes my day because that’s my end goal within all of this. I’m an influencer to influence change and to bring happiness to the world, and I feel like that sets me apart from others as well.

I love to just have fun and I feel like everyone should have a chance to be happy and feel like they have a purpose on this earth no matter what it is.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I would’ve been myself from the beginning. I would’ve taken the negative comments people said about my sexuality and implemented them into my work to motivate others to be themselves.

Instead of putting myself down and letting someone else’s opinion determine my happiness, I would have instead uplifted myself and remind myself that what I’m doing is great and to focus on my goals and impact on others.
