Today we’d like to introduce you to Sade.
Sade, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Post-traumatic stress disorder, heartbreak and depression is where I started. My abstract artworks are all inspired by my deepest feelings and fears. Through my heart, I pour out my heart in hopes to reach other people who can relate to me.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This road has been pretty smooth for the most part as far as sales. I’ve sold art to people in over 35 different states in a matter of five months and have generated lots of capital. My only struggles are my day to day operations with my full-time job, my five-year-old daughter and trying to balance the things that are on my plate. Some people think that my creations are just as simple as slapping paint, wrapping it and shipping it… IT’S NOT! Each peace resembles me. My heart, my story and art takes time.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the BellezaraMilan Art story. Tell us more about your art.
I am an artist that shares her heart! Each color, stroke of the paintbrush, piece of glitter, texture and frame represents me. The box that carry my art pieces are life-sized diaries; inside of the diary is a handwritten letter that describes the piece. I am unique and so is my business. I am proud of Belle Zara Milan Art because I have created my business around, making myself vulnerable enough for my customers to feel and understand who I am as a person.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I do not believe in luck! I believe in HARDWORK.
