Today we’d like to introduce you to Summer Clark and Susan Bashir.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Sparkling White Smiles ATL was founded three years ago. Susan, the mom of the mother-daughter duo, began out as a dental hygienist, with hopes of stepping out of the shadows and not having to work for anyone else ever again! Summer, the daughter, is a pre-med college student at Georgia State University, and with her extensive study schedule, it was very difficult to keep up with the scheduling demands of a normal 9-5 job. With that being said, it was perfect for us to go into business together! We thought to ourselves. Everyone has teeth. This is perfect because it is geared towards everyone! We have come such a long way since then. Our business continues to expand in various ways.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road the whole time. Starting out with any business requires patience and consistency. We started off renting out a lunchbox-sized suite out of someone else’s building, some days wondering if we even made enough to pay our rent for the week! Slowly but surely, we were able to build our reputation up on social media, which caused more clients to trickle in overtime. Our first leap of faith was to finally let go of the crutch we were on and get our own space. Ever since then, our business has really blossomed. We were able to get other teeth whitening machine and take multiple clients at a time. I would say our biggest challenge has been us to gather up the courage to expand. We were so hesitant to move into a new space, but when we did it, it all worked out in our favor. We were also hesitant to start training others and to sell our products, but when we did, it has allowed our business to blossom even more!

Sparkling White Smiles ATL is a tooth whitening business and supplier. Using a laser method and our very own gels offers low sensitivity for our clients and superb results! We sell our teeth whitening gels to other countries across the world and train others to start their very own teeth whitening businesses. We also do teeth gems too. We offer them in just about every color and size, and even shapes, including stars, hearts, squares, and teardrops. Our business is known for its awesome customer service skills and results. This is also what sets us apart from the other teeth whiteners out here!

The biggest credit goes to Susan! Although we both were hesitant in some aspects, she has been the driving force for it all. The business would not be here today if it wasn’t for her pushing us both and believing in us, even when we were both discouraged.
