Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicky Saunders.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Nicky. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Was in the navy for nine years (honorably discharged). Left the navy and was miserable doing IT work. Met Eric Thomas (#1 motivational speaker in the world) through his online community, Breathe University and start adding value wherever I could. Showed up at every event until was given an opportunity to serve on the team in which I was given full control of his social media and took it from 300k- 1.7 million followers. Became head of media for ETA
Due to the opportunities, I created Beastmode Digital, which was taking what my team and myself did for people like Eric Thomas, Inky Johnson, etc., and provided those services for upcoming personal brands. Being a one-stop-shop for an online presence for any personal brand (known now and soon to be relaunched as Deeper Than The Brand).
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, is been pretty smooth. Coming into the came with a serving mindset and not a money first mindset has gotten me in the room that would have taken me years to be in. So that alone probably stopped any real struggles I would have gotten.
Please tell us about Deeper Than The Brand, Beastmode Digital.
I’m known for helping personal brands grow a social media presence thru content creation, strategy and authenticity. My company mirrors that but from all aspects of the digital world. So everything from consulting, graphic design, web design, content creation, online course creation, and more.
The biggest thing is to help personal brands have the tools and resources to grow their influence and be able to monetize that influence. I’m very proud of the consistent value we add for free just on our personal social media accounts on a daily basis. As the leader, I have to lead by example with that movement @thisisnickys and the guys follow with that same energy.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Serving clearly… being able to come into the room with the pureness of helping people to grow rather than the check and over-delivering has always been my biggest thing.
