Today we’d like to introduce you to Kowanda Sims.

Hi Kowanda, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Well I started my clothing line called Stay Focused in 2014, I started selling shirts out the truck of my car. I was determined to get my message out to people and try motivate as many as I can to not give up. Stay Focused was a brand with a strong message. I was going through a third party for printing which was highly expensive so I saved and invested all I had into purchasing T-shirt printing equipment. I had no idea how to operate anything I was determined and equated to learn. I stayed up late nights and long hours for two months to master how to use this equipment. I finally had it which I started printing my own brand now saving a ton of money I have now cut the middle man out.

Now printing on my own, people would start asking me who does your printing, I said me. and ask how much I charge for printing for them so now this became more then a tshirt line this was now a business for printing I started printing for people making money and branding my name/business. I started printing for restaurants and schools it was unbelievable. Even printing for well- known celebrities such as the Steve Harvey foundation and many more. I stayed persistent and invested my all into my business which now I have my own location. This journey was tough but I always kept God 1st and never gave up. now opening branding my business to now Graphic Tee’s LLC.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My struggles were closed doors or no’s from people the doubts to just never giving up. Staying Focused.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are printing business Design t-shirts, Sell vinyl supplies, Tshirt boutique Business cards. Most proud of the accomplishments and how much we offer, we are not just a t-shirt shop but a brand.
