Hi Jessica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Jessica Dunn the owner of Dazzle with Jess which was originally established in 2012. My business failed in 2012 due to lack of focus, direction, business knowledge, confidence and most importantly God. I was confused on why? But God revealed the reasons why I failed . The number one thing was I had no relationship with God! My intimate relationship with God sets the foundation for everything else in my life. Once I got my intimate relationship with God everything else fell in place.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No , it has not been a smooth road! But every stumbling block was a lesson that had to be learned. I am so Grateful for those blocks.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I sale fragrance candles, jewelry, sunglasses , small chic purses ,and mask. I am known for dazzling my clients with jewelry pieces. I am set apart from others because in every product I sale I include a affirmation card that I say to myself personally. I am so proud of the positive message my brand is showing. Words are everything so let’s speak good things to ourselves. I want my Clients to know Dazzle with Jess is a house whole name. And that we provide quality, trendy, classy jewelry pieces that you are going to love. And the message that comes with it is everything things.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Kaley and Jaxx. Kaley is 13 I had her when I was 18, I was a kid myself that did not know anything about raising a kid! I learned fast! I’m so thankful for having a kid at young age because it made me become the woman I needed to be. Jaxx is two. When I found out I was pregnant with Jaxx I hide it from the world for the first six months because I was so ashamed. I always told myself I would not have another child without being married etc. But I knew Jaxx was such a blessing because of everything it took just to hold him inside of me. I found out I placenta prévia at 12 weeks pregnant with Jaxx, so there was a chance I would have complications during delivery. I was so scared! I prayed to God very hard . Asking why me ? I could not believe I was questioning God. I remember listening to Faithful by Elevation Worship daily to ease those doubts and make my faith stronger. So the day came when I went into labor! I was home around 11pm and my water had broken. Oh my I was so scared and happy at the same time . During delivery my placenta was stuck to my uterine wall , and I lost so much blood almost dying. All I could do was ask God to keep me at that moment ! I remember praying the Lord’s Prayer until I was out of it. I woke up in ICU on a ventilator scared to death. God aligned everything up for me in those moments. The Doctor on call at the Hospital was my Doctor! Look at God!!! Every piece of that was aligned by God. My kids are what makes me happy and my WHY.
