Hi Eloen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was younger, I use to always get picked on because I had stains on my teeth. Kids use to always say, “ahhh you got butter on your teeth.” Them not knowing that my teeth was just stained. My mom didn’t know anything about teeth whitening at this time. So when I got older, I looked into it, I actually went to a dentist’s office and paid close to $600 for the 45 min procedure. I knew it had to be a cheaper alternative, but I was happy because I was free from the stains. I start doing my research and I see that the service was really popular in Atlanta and class was offered to learn the service. I ran my idea by a friend and he said go for it! I took the class, found the perfect location, and ever since then business been booming. Now I’m helping people fix one of their biggest insecurities at an affordable price.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road to being a business owner has been rocky. A lot of people don’t know the steps to become a legit business owner. It’s more than just an LLC. I had to learn those steps, so it took longer to get into my building. On top of being a business owner, I am a mother of three, enrolled in school, and I still am working my full-time job. I had to learn how to juggle all three. I had to learn how to work, schedule clients, service clients, take kids to extracurricular activities practice, get school work in on time, do inventory, but also have dinner on at night. It was very overwhelming.
