Hi Praise, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My professional career began with an opportunity to work with the best and brightest in the entertainment, media, fashion, music, automotive, technology, healthcare, hair & beauty, and real-estate industries. I represented hundreds of brands and worked with various companies including New York Life, Coca-Cola, Samsung, L’Oreal, Express, Sony, Mercedes Benz, Borghese, and Nivea. In May of 2014, I found myself jobless. By October of that same year, I took all that I’d learned over the previous 13 years and created my own business. That business is Elements of Delight, a brand and image consulting agency based in Atlanta that has clients nationwide.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. In the beginning, I wanted to be all things to everyone and in doing so, would agree to provide service that though Elements of Delight was capable of doing, wasn’t in alignment with our mission. Once I recognized this, the necessary adjustments were made. This change saved both time and money. My entrepreneurial journey isn’t without its continual challenges. But, I face each one head-on and like the satisfaction of being my own boss at the end of the day.

As you know, we’re big fans of Elements of Delight. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Elements of Delight is a Brand and Image Consulting Agency. Our stated mission is “providing clients with exceptional service where passion meets purpose, creativity meets strategy, and identity meets style.” We provide an array of Branding and Image services tailored to meet the needs of individuals, businesses, and non-profits. Some of the Brand services include strategic planning, creation of cohesive marketing and messaging, Public Relations, development of strong social media campaigns, solidifying event opportunities to captivate target demographic, and defining/redefining products or services.

We also provide a number of image-related services including evaluation of appearance/image to ensure consistency with a person’s personal or professional goals, wardrobe organization, facilitate image workshops, creating personalized image strategies and wardrobe styling/shopping. As a company, we’re extremely proud of the reputation we have garnered in these past seven years. Some of our success can be attributed to our commitment to connect with the Atlanta community in more ways than just conducting business. Through our various media platforms, we like to spotlight amazing people we come across; we are actively engaged in our community in a number of ways, including supporting several charities.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’m thankful to say that my company represents a robust roster of individual, business, and non-profit clients. We welcome the opportunity to work with new clients. We offer a complimentary 15-minute phone conversation where a basic assessment is made of what a potential client’s needs are and typically a full hour paid consultation is the recommended next step. In some cases, this step is eliminated and a proposal of recommended services is then prepared and sent as an email. From there, we wait to hear back from a potential client. And, in most cases, the decision is a “yes”, they want to move forward. A Services Agreement along with agreed-upon payment terms are signed off on. At that point, my team and I are excited to get to work supporting our new client with taking their brand or image to the next level.
