Hi Crystallace, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Sure and thank you for having me. I am originally from the South Side of Chicago, that’s where I was born and raised and spent my entire life up until 2015 when I moved to Atlanta for law school. I graduated from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2018 and became a licensed attorney. I started blogging as a hobby years ago, before I even thought of law school. It wasn’t until after I became a lawyer that I realized that I could use my legal experience and knowledge to help other entrepreneurs with my blog. That’s when I birthed my digital Legal Boutique on my blog. It’s an online shop that offers easy-to-use, affordable, legal contract templates that helps entrepreneurs save thousands of dollars on legal fees.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Blogging and running an online business takes up a lot of my time and like most of my peers, I have a ton of student loan debt. It’s hard to balance working for a guaranteed paycheck vs. investing time into my business, when you have the pressures of paying bills. Another challenge that I have faced is that the world moves faster than the law. There weren’t a lot of established legal resources and solutions for the type of new entrepreneurs that I was seeing in the world. Entrepreneurs such as bloggers, content creators, online coaches, online fitness trainers, etc. They have a particular set of legal needs being solely digital businesses.
That’s why I took the time to do the legal research and writing and created contract templates for the modern world.

I am just a lawyer that loves to blog. At HeyCrystallace.com I blog about business, legal, and blogging tips. My online Legal Boutique offers-easy-to-use legal contract templates for all kinds of entrepreneurs. These legal solutions are cost effective and a great alternative to traditional legal fees which typically cost entrepreneurs thousands of dollars.
What sets you apart from others?
My passion for being innovative and trendy. I noticed a trend in legal needs and so I catered to what these new entrepreneurs need these days. My legal contract templates created by me and are hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars cheaper than “traditional lawyer fees.” Also, they are instantly available and fully customizable.
