Today we’d like to introduce you to South Fulton Arrow Youth Council. Them and their team share their story with us below:
We are a rigorous leadership training program for students 5-22 that inspires, empowers, and educates students in South Fulton. We host school outreaches, promote community outreach events, prepare our students for college & careers and offer summer camp experiences. Our 21st-century leadership engagement training model is known as the Arrow Leadership Institute.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. Financial support has been a struggle. However, for almost 12 years, we have been walking by faith and have met our goal of raising up 21st-century global leaders.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Some of our events include Summer Leadership Institute, College Road Trip, Literacy Festival, Bullseye Summer Camp, Arrow Leadership Institute, Fall Leadership Retreat and Play4Peace.
