Hi LaQuinsia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my journey as an entrepreneur in 2016 as a travel agent. In late 2017, seen a few people who were business owners doing alternative medicine. It spark my interest and I wanted more information. During my child bearing years, I suffered from many issues and only if I knew. After doing research and seeing the benefits I decided that I wanted to take a class of being a Certified Yoni Steam Practitioner and Womb Massage Specialist.

In 2018, I became certified and The Yoni Queens was established. I had helped so many women with female issues over the course of the year that I decided to pursue a little further and became an instructor. Now I am able to teach and educate other women who is interested in starting their own holistic wellness center. I started off doing just that and my business has grown to many things and within the next year looking to expand and provide a full service spa with all the services that we offer.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely, not. Being a business owner takes a lot of patience. There will be days things just will not go right and moments you feel like giving up. With the economy currently business has its ups and downs. One month you may be busy everyday and the next month you may not see as many clients or have lots of sales. As a business owner, I will just encourage everyone to stay focused and all of your hard work will eventually pay off.

I will say to anyone who is starting a business make sure that you do your homework. It will take a lot of patience and not to never give up. The importance of building a business is business credit. In the beginning yes we all use our personal funds to establish a business. I found out all the ways to building a business after starting the establishment. Business credit is what is going to keep your business alive and be able to thrive.
