Today we’d like to introduce you to Raven Hasberry.

Hi Raven, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Raven but I got my name Berry from working… such as music videos, photoshoots, working in the club. Not to mention the red hair, lol. When COVID hit, it changed my life, so I decided to put forth plans that I’ve always thought about.. seeing life change so fast gave me a reality check. I always loved lashes… from my journey when I first started to now. I rarely wear makeup so lashes was what I had to use to put a dramatic look on my face. My businesses BerryLusciousLashes came to me about three years ago, at that time I just didn’t have the tools needed to get started. God blessed me when the time was right and I put all my energy into branding myself so that I would have some to launch off of. For two years straight, I tried to make my image Berry but somehow life itself made it for me. I’m grateful that I’m able to provide lashes and tips for other ladies. I plan to only improve from here.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a smooth road… but it’s been a very needed and humbling experience. Getting things started was easy because I actually wanted this. Meeting people is a good and bad thing… networking has all around helped me. It has also shown me that people can use you or have not so good intentions towards you or why you’re trying to build. It’s all been a learning lesson… good and bad.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about BerryLusciousLashes LLC?
BerryLusciousLashes is a business for all and anybody. It’s to show beauty even in imperfection. I took a lash class a few months ago and will also be doing individuals soon. I’m known for being Berry… I wanted my lashes to make you feel beautiful despite anything you could be going through or experiencing. I’m proud of all my loved ones and even new friends and customers who have supported me. I offer different lash sizes and styles because everybody is different! I sell lash books as well containing 16 pairs of different lashes (22mm and 25mm sizes). Individuals appointments will be coming soon next year 🙏🏾

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years… I will have my own clothing line. That was always my dream. God just have me this idea of the lashes and I fell in love with it. I branded myself on “Berry” for a reason and symbolizing femininity with a cherry logo. I will have a children’s line as well. This is a more thorough process because I want it to be touched with me and unique. I’m looking forward to the future.
