Today we’d like to introduce you to Malcolm Dallas-Challenger.

Hi Malcolm, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my company, Big Malcolm On The Grill after years of feeling stuck in my job as a Meat Manager. I’ve always had a passion for BBQ. For years people have told me that I should sell mines. I finally decided to give it a shot. I had nothing to lose.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve had my fair share of struggles but it’s nothing compared to what I’ve been through. It’s amazing how things can line up for us when we follow our heart.

We’ve been impressed with Big Malcolm On The Grill, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Big Malcolm On The Grill is a BBQ catering service. My specialties include Brisket, Turkey Breast, and Rib Tips. You won’t hear me talking about my special sauce. I purposely don’t make a homemade sauce. My rub and the blend of wood that I use is what sets me apart. Good Bbq doesn’t need sauce and every bite of my bbq is a testament of that.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My advice is to find someone who is where you want to be. Start a simple conversation and become a sponge.
