Risha Babie is a Dallas, TX born and raised singer, songwriter, rapper, and fashion designer whose whispy, sensual tinged cadence, heartless lyrics, and whimsical sound have been inspired by Mary J. Blige, Tina Turner and The Jackson Family. – whom she fell in love with at age 5.

By 13, she begins writing her own songs and developing dance moves as an outlet for creative expression.

After years of being inspired by artists such as Master P, Future, Pimp C, Lil Boosie, Andre 3000, Jay Z, Rick Ross, Missy Elliot, Beyonce, and Rihanna.

Risha was determined to get serious about her love of music and was driven and motivated by her life experiences to write her lyrics, which were inspired by self-realization, and heartbreak to heart mend.

While writing her lyrics she began having visions of clothing that represented the Hip Hop / Chic culture, “ HERIS FASHION” it is for the creative thinkers and those who are in search of higher self.

Risha Babie is not influenced only by American R and B and Hip Hop Music, but also mix of Afro Pop, which includes Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and Mr. Eazi.

She released her first songs “ALL THESE” Featuring Chose “BUCK” Remix to Black Youngsta “BOOTY” off her REALLY RI EP back in 2018.

In November 2021, RISHA BABIE released RITTY LITTY RAP EP to influence fun and lit good time, which songs includes “LIT QUEEN” and “CONJURE SIPPIN”.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No. Things can be very hard, but the dream and the passion keeps you driven. There’s different struggles for different ways. Some struggles can be financially, emotionally, physically when trying to become the best artist.

Others struggles can pertain to stability when dealing with personal circumstances. It really depends on the situation.

Risha Babie is a Dallas, TX born singer, songwriter, rapper fashion designer. I’m known for being” The Lit Queen” which portrays a vibrant, sexy, risky, unique personality and style.

The most things I’m proud of is when people repeat a line/ lyric from my EP while performing.

What sets me apart from others is that I like to try different genre of music. I have an open mind when it comes to creating and writing. I love creating and writing about things that influences me in a current moment.

What matters most to you?
God, Family, and My Art. These things matter to me because they created the person I am today. If it wasn’t for these three things, it wouldn’t be no RISHA BABIE.
