Today we’d like to introduce you to Glow Expo. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Glow Expo is presented by Amethyst Corner LLC. The first two-day exposition will take place on October 2022. The Exposition will continue annually in different regions of the United States. Powerful Spiritual Community leaders will provide insight and knowledge about wellness, self-esteem, spiritual practices and resources needed to connect with one’s best self.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The journey to curating a two-day event based around spiritual wellness is definitely a journey but very necessary. The hardest part was finding a team to support the vision. Tre’ Duffy and Rhonda Jane are pivotal pieces that allow this vision to flow seamlessly.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m Bee’ – a self-published author, podcaster, and fearless black woman. As a 28-year-old black single mother of two, self-care, community, and Black empowerment are essential. Spiritual wellness is the key to ensuring that work gets done in those respective areas.
Rhonda Jane – is a 15 years digital media veteran. She is responsible for all GLOW marketing and branding. She is a powerful creative asset and mompreneur.
Duffy – is a New Orleans born and raised music expert. He specializes in talent development production and distribution. Duffy brings event curation and insight to GLOW.
GLOW EXPO is a Two-Day exposition intended to empower and uplift our community, as it is a necessity at a crucial time where Black people are conditioned to connect with anything outside of themselves.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
The best part of curating GLOW EXPO is the opportunity to bring the black community together to highlight all the ways that spirituality shows up. There is also an important to highlight why we cannot forget those who came before us.
The adversity can be uncomfortable at times but still necessary. My team is very small and we are learning lessons in regard to exposure but we are committed to doing the work.
