Today we’d like to introduce you to Osburn Tyrone Wyche Jr.

Hi Osburn Tyrone, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Osburn Tyrone Wyche Jr born and raised in Macon, GA. As a kid, I played sports and was always a sponge to business ideas and ways to make money to better myself. After high school, I went on to become a marine engineer. While being a marine engineer I traveled the world learning different cultures and opening my mind up to different business ideas. I experienced over 20 countries in my time span as a marine engineer. While being on board ships docking in and out of ports around the world, I noticed the demand for trucking. While in the midst of my career it dawned on me that all the containers or supplies loading throughout the ports are done by commercial trucks. From there I started researching the commercial trucking business. At the time, I also had a business renting out commercial jump houses/bounce houses for children’s parties. At the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, I always asked myself what type of business will always be in demand. I started gathering all the materials and knowledge for my own trucking company and reaching out to people gaining information. I started my trucking business in 2017 with my friends, and currently growing and learning every day.

In addition to my trucking company, I now also have an EMS transportation company called Care Runners EMS. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is an ambulance transportation company. Care Runners was established by my business partner and myself. My business partner owned a healthcare company while I was in the transportation industry so we decided to combine services and start our own EMS company.

I wanna also shed light on my latest entrepreneurial job as Vice President and Creative Director of Minority Baseball Prospects (MBP).  This is a business venture started by my little brother Alexander Wyche who is the CEO and founder. This platform is to promote and shed light on minorities/African Americans getting exposure in the sport of baseball.

Lastly, I have added real estate investing to my portfolio. I think real estate is something that every entrepreneur should add to their profiles.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has not been smooth, but it has been worth it. The struggles range from staffing, finances, misinformation, unfair people and just overcoming being patient. I’ve learned you have to have patience and create your daily/weekly goals. Also, I think systems are important. Creating systems throughout your business to follow is key. Also, I realize you will need to build a team. I would say those were my challenges and struggles throughout my journey in learning those things.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
MVO GROUP LLC is a box trucking company that specializes in moving freight throughout Atlanta and the surrounding states. We specialize in white-glove services and palletize freight. What sets us apart is my expertise and knowledge in the business and my long-lasting relationships and client base.

My brand has been around five years and counting and that’s what I’m most proud of. Most brands and or small businesses statically don’t make it to the five year mark.

Care Runners EMS is a medical transportation company located in Atlanta GA. We specialize in the transportation of patients to dialysis, doctor visits, nursing homes, etc.

Minority Baseball Prospects is a business that has built a platform to give an equal opportunity to minorities in the sport of baseball.

What does success mean to you?
Success to me is something that you have to feel you have achieved, I don’t think a man or woman can make that decision for you. I think success is the ability to create a lifestyle and fulfillment in something that you are passionate about. Everyone likes to classify success as material assets gained. I think differently, I think truly fulfilling your purpose and passion here on earth is a success.
