Today we’d like to introduce you to Yung Beria.
Hi Yung Beria, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I actually started seven years ago being a musical artist. I also wanted to build my brand not just through music but to separately build together both my music and brand because from day one growing up, I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and a creative one too, so whenever I drop a new record I also come up with a new designed to my merchandise and I noticed my supporters, fans and my customers always love whatever new creative merchandise I got for serve.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No. It wasn’t easy from the start. I had lot of doubters, unbelievers, haters, and ignorance people who couldn’t see my vision because me being from another continent and speak a different English accent so people hardly believe me at the time that I was a legit and authentic musical artist entrepreneur at that time.
I had a lot of challenges and humiliations in that if I wasn’t a strong believing person I would had give up but I didn’t because I knew my art as a musical artist was going to take off and me being an entrepreneur I just had the notion that one day it was going to manifest and here I am today it’s manifest But it takes me years to overcome doubters who didn’t believe my lane was going to manifest as a unique international hiphop artist and entrepreneur as well.
People going to always pre-judge you they don’t take even a second to get to know you and get to know why you doing stuff differently but I didn’t listen to know body even in the dark days, I when through hell I didn’t stop I kept going because I understand at the time not everyone will see your vision so I knew that many will doubt me. I did a lot of sacrifices like I sacrificed everything. I mean my time, finances, energy and work real, real hard to build my unique art and brand.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I go by the name Yung Beria. I’m an international hip-hop artist from west Africa Liberia… I’m specialized in rapping. And I’m proud of my creative unique sound I infuse into hip hop the fact that I had to build my own lane, I didn’t had to imitate other artists and that’s my power of being me and being different which set me apart from other artists in the industry.
What’s next?
Yes, I’m planning more growth and expanding of my creative, unique sound lane into hiphop yea. I’m working day and night to make sure people of my generation or whatever generation in the world get a taste of my new lane wave I infused into hiphop and growth in my creative entrepreneur ideas and products as well.
