Meet Adam Goldberg of Adam Goldberg Photography in Dunwoody

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Goldberg.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am currently a full-time photographer and FAA licensed drone pilot based in Atlanta, GA specializing in architecture, real estate and aerial photography. During my years of traveling the world for multiple organizations such as The Department of Defense and Deloitte Consulting, I discovered a passion for photographing the places that he visited. Whether it was the beautiful architecture of the Coliseum or a luxury hotel’s pool, I found myself drawn to taking more and more pictures of the places and spaces I visited. After obtaining my Master’s in Business Administration, I decided to launch my photography career with a focus on interior and exterior spaces as I’ve always always had an eye for architecture. Photography is the perfect mixture of science, art and creativity for my innovative and imaginative mind. I’ve been fortunate to photograph architecture, homes, construction projects and hotels for clients throughout the Atlanta area and around the world

When I’m not photographing an architectural wonder or flying my drone, you can find me capturing landscape and travel images around the world… or with my feet in the sand, a little bit of hot sauce and some Jimmy Buffett music in the background.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The journey from working corporate jobs to being a full-time photographer has not always been a smooth road. There are a great many challenges with starting your own business. Even with a MBA, there was a lot that I didn’t know about starting and running a business. Over the years, I have refined my processes and become better and managing all aspects of the business from marketing, sales, financials, etc.

With photography, there is always learning. As a busy small business owner, finding the time to continue to grow, learn, and ideally get better at my craft is something that has always been a challenge. However, it is one of the most important aspects of my job. Technology is always changing so learning about the technology and leveraging it to create better images is something I pride myself on.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Adam Goldberg Photography – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I started my business, Adam Goldberg Photography, a number of years ago with the goal of creating images that capture the essence of a property or room. My images are crafted with an eye on creating a realistic representation that transports the viewer to the space. I work with a variety of clients from residential real-estate agents, commercial construction companies, architects, to hotels and resorts. In addition to photography, I do videography. I have done walk-throughs of a luxury home, aerial video of a commercial building and 360/VR perspectives of a hotel’s pool area.

I am most proud of the work that I have created that has helped a first time home buyer find their dream home when searching online, that an architecture firm submitted with the hopes of winning an award for the hard work they put in creating their vision and that transports an individual to a resort that they plan on visiting later in the year. It is these reason and many more that drive me to capture the best images possible for my clients.

What sets me apart from others is my overall dedication to my craft. I work with each client individually to understand their needs before a shoot begins. By building and creating this relationship with my clients, I am better able to work with them from shoot to the final delivery of the images. With the vision we created together, I am able better able to create photographs that turn our vision into reality for my clients.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to continue to create lasting images for my clients. I hope to grow my business and be able to assist more clients, whether it be new architecture firms, commercial real-estate companies or hotels and resorts. I do want to ensure that the growth happens in a managed way so that, I can still provide the attention to detail that each of the projects I take on needs.
