Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlton Inije.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Charlton. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I began photography in summer 2006. I had a regular point and shoot camera. I took the little guy with me practically everywhere. I wanted to photograph any and everything food, people, moments street signs and anything the people have seen on a day to day bases. I wanted to take its picture just in a different perspective. I was a student at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. As a student studying Digital Arts and Design (DAD), finding what area I wanted to specialize in was a no-brainer… photography! I began interning for a wedding videography company in Orlando while in college. This is where I had my first real experiencing shooting a wedding.
Fast forward to two years later, I moved to Atlanta, GA bought my own real DSLR camera and started my own company (Inije Photography). I was a hungry young guy ready to show the world what I learned and how much it needs my photography. In my first two years of business, I shot over 65 weddings and 32 events. I pretty much burnt my self out. I wasn’t getting the type of weddings I wanted to photograph, I did not charge what my worth and I started to lose the person that I once was. No more family/friends times because my weekends turned into my weekdays. However, I loved wedding photography and could not let it go. I began networking and working smart instead of working hard. Here we are, not ten years later in 2018 and I have won several awards: 2015 best of Atlanta: wedding photography by modern luxury, Wedding Wire couples choice award three years in a row(2016,2017,2018) and even most recently, a Diamond award for the best ring shot. Never in a million years, would I have imagined the placement God has placed me at currently. That’s my story!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The saying goes something worth having is worth working for. I have been in business a while and I must admit it has been a tough road. I do not regret any of the experiences as I take them not only as business hiccups but life lessons to better my self, my company and continue to deliver the best for my clients.

Success, in my opinion, is reaching a goal you set for your self and surpassing even more then you set your goal to be.
