Life & Work with Bree Marshae and Bree Shanice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bree Marshae and Bree Shanice.

Bree Marshae, Bree Shanice N/a

Hi Bree and Bree, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
Our organization started by us just being best friends. That’s the most simplest way we could put it. Literally, it was our destiny! We became besties when we were in 3rd grade. That was such a long time ago. We remained best friends throughout the years and shared even more in common than we did as kids. We both are moms; we both know what that feels like. Especially navigating motherhood and still keeping our sanity. LOL! And not to mention, we both love beauty and most of all, we love people. We always wanted to create our own community. A bunch of like-minded women who are just like us! Those who understand work and play balance but also, understand the value of being a great stand-up person in this world. We want to empower women and let them know you can do both! There’s a village that looks just like you. That’s US! Bunch of Bree!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t always been smooth. Of course, as people, we experience adversity and obstacles, but with prayer and perseverance, we push through. We are very strong in our faith, and we believe deeply in what you put in this universe is what you get back in return.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Our work is simple. We help, and we encourage people. We motivate and inspire women. We like to think of ourselves as the big sisters of the community we built. We are actively sowing seeds in our neighborhood, helping women in need, being the bridge of opportunity where we are needed the most. That’s who we are. That’s who we’ve always been.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5 years, we def see the big screen for us! We both share a passion for expressing our personalities. Also, we would love to open up shelters for women in need. Then, we would like to create an app for morning devotionals and inspiration; the app would be informative and would house information about jobs, current events, and community-like things that are going on in whatever area you’re in. We will also love to tour to multiple cities sowing seeds in multiple areas.
