Hi Brenda, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business in 2020 when Covid was Covid and no one knew what it was, I was working from home and remember asking myself how I could make more money and provide more for my 5 kids. I then started to research crystal shops because that’s what I wanted. Found vendors, located a store 8 miles from my home and met with the building owner looked at the space and then leased the space and it’s my tax return using $5000 for the space and the other $5000 using the rest. Kept my work from home job and worked from the store to fund building out the store.I didn’t use any of the r money for anything else then paying store bills. The first year I took a loss, second year I took a loss and third year it was lucrative.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road but rather challenging, I went from making 100 a day which is 3000 a month the first year making money to fund getting the floors done, the paint done and purchasing displays and inventory. It was very challenging in the beginning but as time went by I learned about inventory and hiring people with trustworthy backgrounds. In November 2022 my business wall fell and that closed my store for over a year so that was very challenging and although I had insurance the insurance was not trying to pay for everything so that was very challenging. So learning to have proper coverage in case of accident and understanding my policy.

I have a Crystal Shop that sell beautiful gem stone jewelry and I also specialize in Reiki which is a spiritual holistic healing method used to remove negative energy to help others heal blockage created from traumatic events that occurred in there life. I also teach Reiki. I just opened up a Yoga& meditation studio in the space as well and expanded my Crystal shop in another suite and now have a Cafe that sells coffee tea soup salads and is strictly just for members. I’m known for helping people understand there past and purpose and move on from painful experiences. I’m proud of my ability to help others overcome those traumatic experiences and walk into a more purposeful life. I want people to
