Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley White

Hi Ashley, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Ashley White I have worked in the transportation industry for 12+ years as a delivery driver for several companies. Over time I wanted to gain more knowledge of the industry and the many careers it has to offer. I became a driver for a food distribution company quickly excelling to assistant warehouse manager gaining experience in how the warehouse operates I was then offered the Logistics manager position. Within a year and a half I have excelled throughout the company having all 3 positions under my belt I worked extremely hard for this company, upon my 1 year anniversary of becoming Logistics manager my evaluation was given which I received an above target score 2 weeks later I was fired reason given “ they needed someone more experienced”. After experiencing the heartbreak of losing a job I worked so hard for and gave my all to I was confident that with the increased knowledge I have I then decided to start my own Logistics business on May 26 2023 I started LL.L LLC DBA Lifeline Logistics .

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Along the journey the road has been very challenging! From the LLC to having limited funds and a low credit score it was extremely hard becoming a new business owner. Learning all the compliance’s that come with the business on top of the costly commercial insurance with the help of loved one’s I was able to achieve the goals that needed to be done to get the business moving in the right direction. Also being a new entity a lot of companies wouldn’t work with me so I had to find ways to get the wheels rolling, once on the road and rolling I faced many other challenges from breakdowns, repos, load issues, dispatch issues just to name a few.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
LL.L LLC DBA Lifeline Logistics I focus on shipping and receiving of General Freight I offer Sprinter van services to customers needing LTL (Less Than Truck Loads) services. I am the direct line to which companies depend on which provides a means of escape from difficult situations transporting goods from point A to B. I provide professional services to ensure products will be handled as top priority being delivered in a efficient and timely manner. I am most proud of the outcome and remaining consistent no matter the challenges faced also staying determined and willing to gain as much knowledge as possible but most importantly never giving up. Being a woman in a male dominated industry going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction as customer service is my top priority always doing what’s needed to get the job done by any means necessary.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Although there has been many lessons learned throughout this journey I would have to say I’ve learned that all things are really possible thru Christ! I’ve also learned that patients, determination, consistency and Faith will take you along way. Nothing worth having comes easy and I’ve learned that being a business owner comes with its challenges but continuing to push through no matter what it is, what matters most is never giving up on a journey I created.
