Today we’d like to introduce you to Preston Moses

Hi Preston, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Q-MOSES BBQ, started with me and my younger Brother Quentin Moses. We had this idea to start a mobile cratering BBQ business. We grew up in a family that was big on family gatherings and good food especially BBQ was the main focus alone with fellowship and loving on each other. We had our competition amongst each other on who had the best tasting dish, my brother was very competitive. Unfortunately February 12, 2017 my brother, sister and niece lost their lives in an house fire. This was very tragic for me as well as the family. So in honor of my brother me and my wife decided to continue with the business and name it Q-MOSES BBQ in memory of my brother Quentin Moses nickname Que Moe. My brother played for the UGA bulldogs, we were born and raised in Athens Ga. And me and my wife are graduates of Clark Atlanta University. So the colors Red, Black and white., worked perfectly. Q-MOSES BBQ is a representation of the legacy of my brother and the history of how our families brought love to each other and the community.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been a smooth road, when we started the business in 2017, 2019 COVID hit. So it’s was like we got shutdown before we could really get going. By the Grace Of God we are still making it happen. It’s just me and my wife right now, so business is not coming the way we would like. But we have faith in God that when the time is right our cup will overflow. We take pride in making great tasting meals and hefty servings.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We specialize in The best BBQ AROUND. We have a commercial smoker that I had customized. We came serve 20 to 500 customers. we are know for our Smoked BBQ WINGS AND CHEEZY MAC AND CHEESE HOMEMADE FROM SCRATCH. But we also serve all meat, briskets, ribs, turkey wings, pulled pork and the amazing sides, collard greens, cabbage, fancy baked beans and more. We also have a vegan menu.

Any big plans?
We plan to grow our business, so that we are able to build scholarships in the name of my brother Quentin… for young students to future there education and serve everyone our wonderful tasting BBQ across the country.
