We’re looking forward to introducing you to Teerra Monae. Check out our conversation below.

Teerra, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Would YOU hire you? Why or why not?
Absolutely, because I’m dedicated to everything I do. I’m hands on, I pay attention to detail, very reliable and a natural born winner.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello World,
I’m known as Te’erra Monae to most. I started out running my own Cleaning Business, from Residential to Commercial and combining the two. Started my very own cosmetics, I love helping others achieve the same goal they may have as well. I’m hands on with everything I do. And I’m great with placement’s I’ve worked with and for some great people. I started a mobile massage business, I blog and I love to write, writing so much led me to be the first person in my family to actually have my own books.!.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My Bestfriend, she has always been one to lift me up, never let me forget who I am, even times when I didn’t see the vision times when I questioned my own ability she would always say “ girl You’re Te’erra Monae” you’re a boss you’ve always been that girl.

When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
Always praying: I’ve always stayed prayed up. I would just talk to God so much.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
I never rely on anyone else’s ideas.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I’ve always wanted to see others happy, I I was loving and had so much love to give, I carried a lot of weight and made it look so easy. I was a fighter, a child of God. And I’ve always had that Boss mentality.
