Hi Brandi C., we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My introduction to accounting came early—at just 12 years old. As an Army brat from Frankfurt, Germany, I experienced a life of movement and adaptation. When my family relocated to the U.S., I landed my first job at a hair salon owned by a family friend at Ft. Stewart, GA. Long before computers were commonplace, I learned the fundamentals of bookkeeping the old-school way: 13-column worksheets, mailing written purchase orders, bank deposit slips, and the meticulous art of recording and reconciling financials. That hands-on experience laid the foundation for everything that followed.
Heading into my senior year of high school, I deepened my interest by taking vocational courses in business and financial accounting. From there, my passion for the field only grew.
I’m proud to be a Double Eagle—earning both my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (2007) and Master of Accountancy (2010) from The Georgia Southern University. While working my way through college at the Walmart Distribution Center, I began preparing taxes at age 18 for coworkers, friends, and family and administering payroll for local trucking company. That side hustle quickly became a calling.
After graduation, I secured a senior audit position at a CPA firm specializing in insurance and corporate taxation. Over the years, I built a career rooted in tax, statutory accounting, and audit, eventually rising to Director of Accounting for an insurance third-party administrator.
At the peak of my corporate journey, I felt the pull to build something of my own. With the encouragement of my collegiate circle, I took the leap—and in 2019, Williams Accounting & Tax Services LLC was born. It’s been a rewarding journey of growth, independence, and service ever since.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey wasn’t just about building a career—it was about surviving and thriving through relentless hustle. At one point, I was a full-time college student, working full-time, juggling two side hustles, trying to maintain a social life, and navigating new motherhood at 23. Sleep? That was a luxury I couldn’t afford. I wanted it all—and I was determined to earn it.
Just one month after earning my undergraduate degree, I welcomed my son into the world. That moment changed everything. The support I expected didn’t show up, and I quickly realized I had to become my own safety net. Hyper-independence wasn’t a conscious choice—it was a necessity. And while it came with its own challenges, it also became my superpower. It fueled my drive, sharpened my focus, and propelled me up the ranks faster than I ever imagined.
Today, I stand not only as an accountant with over 20 years of experience, but also as an IRS-licensed Enrolled Agent specializing in tax strategy and a fully licensed insurance professional. Every struggle, every sleepless night, every sacrifice laid the foundation for the business I now own and lead with pride.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
I carry two childhood memories that have remained etched in my heart. The first was when I was about eight years old—my dad took me to Euro Disney right after it opened. It was pure magic. The rides, the cotton candy, the Disney princes and princesses—it felt like stepping into a dream. That day is frozen in time, and I still have the photo hanging on my dining room wall. We went back many times after, but nothing compares to that first adventure, living out a Disney fantasy hand-in-hand with my father.
The second memory is just as special—my very first concert here in the States. If you know me, you know concerts are my happy place. My dad surprised me with tickets to see Subway, Brandy, and Boyz II Men. It was everything. The energy, the music, the moment—it lit a fire in me that still burns.
And let’s be honest, if there’s a tour worth seeing, it’s coming to Atlanta. This city knows how to do music right.
