Hi Keisha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hello,
My name is Keisha of Keisha’s Hair Designs. I am a Master Cosmetologist of 28 years. I guess I should have known I would end up doing hair. I use to change the hair on my Barbie dolls as a little girl. Once I finished Cosmetology School I got a chance to experience Working for myself. I then knew I wanted to become a full-time Entrepreneur. I enjoy meeting people and creating professional, meaningful and long-term relationships with my clients.
As an Entrepreneur I am able to manage being a Mom and Bride to be!!! I will continue to learn how to Grow and become the best version of myself that will give my clients the best experience!!!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say that with any business there will always be challenges. The hair industry gives to you what you put into it. When there are some slow times I just continue to Market and stay positive!!!

I am a Master Cosmetologist. I am experienced in Styling and caring for Natural Hair, Kid Hair, Men Hair, Locs, Braids, Color Services, Short Hair, and Weaves. I am most Proud of being able to have a thriving Clientele for over 28 years. I think being Professional, Positive and Consistent sets me apart from others in the hair industry.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I feel that we have an abundance of resources that I can use to study and to grow. By either reading or doing research, I am able to grow and pass on knowledge through services to my clients.
