What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?

We’ve been working on our publication and platform for almost a decade because we deeply believe that the world will be a far more empathetic and collaborative place if we all had the ability to know each other’s stories. The past decade has brought unimaginable challenges along the way, but we persevere because we believe this is mission worth never giving up on. We often are inspired by the folks we’ve featured and their commitment to their respective missions and so we asked some of them to talk to us about this very topic and have share some responses below.

A belief I’m committed to, is to live my life passionately and fully. After my mother passed, I faced moments of fear and distraction that made me question my path. I’m deeply committed to the belief that movement matters. Finding movement you genuinely enjoy is what makes it sustainable. I want people to be present in the moment and move not because they’re chasing a certain look or goal, but because it feels good and brings them joy. Read more>>

As a mom and educator, I wholeheartedly believe in our youth. The world often paints them as misguided, but I choose to believe they’re simply unheard. Too often, adults operate under the belief that they are always right — that children should be seen and not heard. I refuse to accept that.
