Exploring Life & Business with Sernesha Burston of GCB INNOVATIONS LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sernesha Burston.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Thank you for the beautiful question… I was not feeling fulfilled in my life just going to work and coming home. I knew at a very young age I wasn’t meant to fit in like everyone else and I was meant to leave a very huge impact in this world. I was hosting at this newly opened fine dining restaurant in Buckhead Atlanta,GA and I was tired of bringIng value to these companies while being disrespected. I was so over not living in my calling and I was extremely over the emotional abuse. I prayed to the Lord & ask what my purpose was .

The Lord told me and in simplest terms the Lord spoke to me and said,’YOU ARE MEANT TO HEAL THE PEOPLE FROM TRAUMA!” I didn’t question GOD because I knew his plan was far beyond mine. After, the owner cursed at me because he made an error. He had me sit the wrong table instead of sitting the initiate “VIP’ client. He had the wrong slip and when he cursed at me in front of all the guests/workers. I quit that job and never looked back. I was then instructed by the Lord to sit down and write my book,”YOU ARE THE GENERATIONAL CURSE BREAKER- ANALYZE,HEAL,PROJECT)! Today, I’ve stopped looking for the tables to provide my values and I’ve started to create my own tables. I am no longer out of alignment and will continue to walk in my destiny. I say nothing worth having will come without a challenge but YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP! Life won’t be peaches and cream always; But, you can absolutely get through anything. I couldn’t have done it without my heavenly father!!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Great Question! I would say it hasn’t been a complete smooth ride but it could’ve been worse. I don’t go into anything with a negative mindset because it’s not the end all be all. I use challenges as a way for course correction, redirection , or just a lesson. Nothing in life from my experience will come without some kind of challenge. But, don’t be discouraged and analyze to see if there is a need for course correction, redirection , or just a lesson!

I would say my biggest struggle was trying to find places to add my value when I released my book. Like when people say they want to “sit at the right tables” and I am now creating my own tables. Due to a major fact not everyone will acknowledge or appreciate your values. So, instead of being discouraged because I wasn’t invited or accepted. I’ve just created space to add my values elsewhere and anyone in need for my values …. the Lord will guide them to me. I had to accept and understand that I AM NOT MEANT TO FIT IN!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about GCB INNOVATIONS LLC?
GCB INNOVATIONS LLC- ABBREVIATION – GCB(GENERATIONAL CURSE BREAKERS)

My business is my brand because I am the Generational Curse Breaker of my bloodline and I guide individuals to heal from Generational curses as well as break them. I’ve built my business to provide a solution for the people because we all have Generational Curses in our bloodline! It’s not about your race, age , or where you’re from …We all have Generational Trauma in our bloodlines that was normalized and formed into Generational Curses. In which, Generational curses formed Generational cycles and not the good ones.

At GCB INNOVATIONS LLC, I provide life coaching to individuals whom want to break Generational Curses, heal from trauma, and fighting to keep a positive mindset through life’s obstacles. I am a self published author of my first book “YOU ARE THE GENERATIONAL CURSE BREAKER-ANALYZE,HEAL,PROJECT). I have so much in store so make sure you all subscribe to my website

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love my city ATLANTA,GA and the Lord knew not to place me anywhere else. Home of the southern culture , timeless music , and Black Mecca. I’ve watched my city build up and I am so extremely proud of where we have come. It’s too bad that Atlanta has a bad reputation to some because it’s rare to find a real ‘NATIVE OF ATLANTA” like me to show you it’s not as it many seem. Atlanta is like a fish bowl full of many people from many places.

I just dislike that many people that look like me have normalized the Generational Curse Of Poverty and the Generational Curse Of Imprisonment. Not the actual people but the circumstances we were put in. They’ve lost hope and if you’re reading this ….. and you come from the “GHETTO” “HOOD” just never give up. There are so many great opportunities out here and you deserve the best life you’ve so ever dreamt. You have to keep going no matter what. Adapt and keep a positive mindset! When things go wrong keep your faith in Jesus because I won’t sit here … and lie to you. The Lord and Savior was the only way for me not to just get out of poor environments but for me to stay out of poor environments!!!!!! Don’t try to fit in because you were made by the Lord to be “UNIQUELY YOU” and that’s all you should ever be! Do right by people because you never know who you might need. NETWORK, NETWORK ,NETWORK !! Be weary of who you call your friends, stay away from bad crowds, and set boundaries in all aspects of your LIFE!

I also dislike how people are not authentic and try to shame the ones who live in their truth. Nobody is perfect and to me only the babies are! Save the youth and be yourself…. People need to stop trying to fit in and build GENERATIONAL SUCCESS!!! AND BE AUTHENTICALLY THEM
