Today we’d like to introduce you to Chimere Trimble.
Hi Chimere, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Always knew I wanted to be an Attorney never imagine things would take shape the way it has. After law school I returned to South Georgia where I was raised and believe it or not obtain extensive legal experience from being a Staff Attorney to three Suoerior Court Judges simultaneously, one of which later became a Court of Appeals Judge for the State of Georgia. I had the unique opportunity to teach college all while practicing law in the Municipal, Magistrate, State, Superior, Federal and Court of Appeal in Georgia. These experiences shaped me for the move to the Metro Atlanta area where I subsequently founded Chisolm Trimble & Associates, LLC., a boutique family law and estate planning firm. The firm has since served thousands of families throughout Georgia and has been recognized consistently as one of Georgia top 10 Family Law Firms. While accolades such as being named a Super Lawyer 7 consecutive years and highlights by the National Association of Black Attorneys have all been humbling, the best feeling is knowing that you have changed someone’s life for the better.
We not only practice law but we are involved in many community initiatives to help the underserved as well as mentor young professional interested in pursuing a career in law all while operating a multi-million dollar law firm with various offices throughout Georgia. That is my legacy!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey hasn’t been smooth by far. Often I have been one of the youngest to do some of the things I have been able to do. With that comes the obstacle of doubt by others because they believe that age equals experience. However, I welcome the opportunity to educate and show people a different experience than what they expected. I also always prove them wrong! Age is simply a number and it’s the hunger and determination to be great that sets me apart.

The firm is a boutique family and estate planning law firm. We help clients with domestic relations matters such as divorce, custody, spousal support, visitation/parenting time, contempt, wills, trust, and estate planning.
We not only help clients with mediation and understanding the court system while also winning we we go to Court.
What sets us apart is our dedication to getting results.
What are your plans for the future?
In the future I plan to expand the firm to service more families throughout Georgia and the surrounding states. I want to use proceeds to help families in need while providing pro bono services to parents with terminal illnesses needing to make arrangements for their loved ones. I also intend to complete my upcoming book and enter a larger platform to educate people on the law and how it affects their everyday life!
